The world of cycling is coming to Montréal — and Mountain Massif is bringing the World Championships to the virtual cycling community.
From 20–27 September 2026, Montréal will host the UCI Road World Championships, bringing the world’s best riders to Québec for a week of racing and the chance to claim the iconic rainbow jersey.
But you don’t have to wait until September to experience the courses.
Mountain Massif is teaming up with TrainingPeaks Virtual to give you the chance to ride the 2026 World Championship courses yourself.
Ride the World Championship Time Trial Course
The 2026 UCI World Championship individual time trial course is a 39.2km, largely flat but technical route, with 220 metres of elevation gain. The course follows the St. Lawrence River, passes through Parc Jean-Drapeau and takes in the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve before returning towards Montréal’s city centre.
There will be three opportunities to ride the virtual time trial course:
- 6 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the TT
- 13 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the TT
- 20 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the TT
Whether you’re looking to test your fitness, experience the course before the real-world racing begins or simply see how you compare with other riders, these events offer the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the Worlds.
Take on the Montréal Circuit
The road races will culminate on the demanding 13.4km Mont-Royal circuit.
It may be a relatively short lap, but it packs 269 metres of climbing into every circuit, including the demanding Camillien-Houde climb and steep sections of Chemin de la Polytechnique.
The elite men will complete the circuit 12 times, making it a race of attrition where strength, endurance and positioning will be crucial.

- 12 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the Circuit
- 19 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the Circuit
- 27 September — 8:00am MDT — Ride the Circuit
